From May 23rd to May 27th a week of meetings, completely open to the city, dedicated to architecture and the urban future.
With the second edition of Arch Week, for five days, Milan is confirmed as the world capital of architecture, involving the public in a busy programme of events open to everyone, workshops, installations, exhibitions, performances, lectures with some of the most prestigious winners of the Pritzker Prize.
The 2018 edition will have the title “Urbania, uno sguardo sul futuro delle città” (Urbanity, a look to the future of cities), and it wants to be a well-structured moment of reflection on the future of dynamics of architecture and contemporary urban complexity. A reflection that will take place in three of the most representative institutions for the formation of thought and debate about the city: Politecnico di Milano, Triennale di Milano and Giangiacomo Feltrinelli Foundation.
Arch Week will also be an opportunity to involve the students of the Politecnico di Milano School of Architecture that will present a selection of the best architecture theses, as well as some moments of in-depth analysis about urban transformation.
Of course, this year too, there will be the contribution of "VespArch", find new urban routes while riding a Vespa. The trip will be built in collaboration with Artlab-Fitzcarraldo foundation, Prada foundation, Citylife and others.
