From 17 October 2017 to 18 February 2018, Palazzo Reale in Milan will celebrate Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec (1864-1901) with a major exhibition that will highlight the entire artistic path and stretches of extraordinary modernity. The exhibition, curated by Danièle Devynck (director of the Toulouse-Lautrec Museum in Albi) and Claudia Zevi, is promoted and produced by the City of Milan-Culture, Royal Palace, by Giunti Art Exhibitions Museums and Electa, with the Musée Toulouse -Lautrec of Albi and the Institut national d'histoire de l'art (INHA) in Paris.
The exhibition, divided into thematic sections, will lead the visitor to understand the charm and artistic importance of the bohemian painter, never join a school, he was able to build a new and provocative realism, extreme synthesis of form, color and movement The exhibition will display more than 250 works of Toulouse-Lautrec
